SEPTEMBER 7-10

Thank you for sending back all the first day forms so quickly. The handbook has been delayed and should be available by Monday, September 20th.

Tuesday, September 7th is the first full day of school. Half day Pre-k 3 and 4 will be dismissed at noon.

Before School Care: Before school care is offered from 6:45- 7:45 each morning. If interested please fill out the registration form.

 After School Care: After School Care is offered each day until 6 p.m. Please make sure that you have registered indicating the days that you will be using after care in order that we have proper staffing.

Moring Drop Off: Children in Grades K- Grade 8 should be lined up by grade in front of the school building. Children will be called to enter the building at 7:45. There is no supervision before that time unless the student is enrolled in before school care.

Band Program: The instrumental music program gave a presentation to the students in Grades 4-8 . Information was sent home with the students.

Back to School Night: Tuesday is Back to School Night for parents. This is a night for adults only. The evening will begin in the Kolbe Center at 6 p.m.  There will be a short meeting consisting of introductions of pastor, principal, faculty and staff . This will be followed by introductions of the Home School Executive Board and activities for the year. There will be opportunities to sign up to volunteer for various activities. In order to keep the meeting short staff will be available after the meeting to answer individual questions.

Following the meeting parents will have the opportunity to visit classrooms and learn about curriculum and policies for the year. This is not a time for individual conferences. There will be (2) 20 minute sessions. Please visit your youngest child's teacher first.

Middle School Schedule; Please go to your child's homeroom. The teachers will switch classes. If you are an 8th grade parent Mr. Bennett will be addressing all the special 8th grade activities and deadlines during the second session.

Opening School Mass: On Friday September 7th the students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 will attend the 8 a.m. Mass in church for the Opening of School Mass and Patriot's Day.

Cheerleading Coach: We have been fortunate to have found a coach for the Middle School. If anyone is interested in working with the younger students  please call or e-mail the school office.

High School Fairs; For those students who are interested in attending a catholic high school there will be two high school fairs:

Sunday, September 12th at Martin's West from 3-5 p.m.

Sunday September 19th at College of Notre Dame from 3-5 p.m.

Website : We are in the process of updating our website. This will take a few months. Please be patient during this transition process. The new website will have teacher pages, school forms that can be downloaded and newsletters can be e-mailed out.
